USC Takes its Place in Los Angeles Skyline

USC’s logo and name now sit atop a 32-story landmark office tower at Olive and 12th streets, facing the east and west sides of the city of Los Angeles.
On Dec. 19 and 20, a Huey helicopter raised six letters, two shields and supporting framework to the top of the tower. The letters weigh about 500 pounds each and stand 15 feet tall. The shield weighs 2,000 pounds and is 20 feet high.

USC NAME TO RISE OVER DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES
The University of Southern California has leased an additional 30,000 SF at the AT&T Center in downtown Los Angeles, which brings the University’s occupancy at the building to approximately 245,000 SF. As part of the lease agreement, the USC name and shield will replace the AT&T sign during the third quarter of 2015 (Click here to read more).

This document is the result of several weeks of discussion with park stakeholders. PROPOSED MODIFICATIONS TO USC LEASE WITH COLISEUM COMMISSION
To support a public and transparent process, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission and the University of Southern California are jointly releasing a proposed agreement for a new lease based on the list of points of agreement, known as a term sheet, released earlier this year.
Both parties invite public comment and discussion of the lease document. Members of the public can send their comments to the Coliseum Commission as directed below.
